rclone-drive-backup is a private, single-user backup tool. It is operated by its owner (Uri) to copy encrypted backups of his own server files to his own Google Drive. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
The app uses the Google Drive scope drive.file. This scope lets the app see and manage only the files and folders that the app itself created. It cannot read the rest of the owner's Drive. Backup files are encrypted on the owner's server (rclone crypt) before they are uploaded, so Google stores only encrypted content.
The app collects no personal data from anyone other than its owner, and it uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. No information obtained through Google APIs is shared with, transferred to or sold to any third party.
The OAuth token is stored in a configuration file on the owner's private server. The owner can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Questions can be sent to the contact address listed on the app's Google consent screen.
